Beta Club Induction Ceremony Held

 

     The Beta Club and Junior Beta Club Induction Ceremony was held on Thursday, November 8th, 2007. Students of the Beta Club were honored and inducted using all the traditional methods. 

     The President of the Beta Club, Marcus Cross, lit the white candle which is a symbol of his position. The Vice President, Stan Harvey, lit the red candle. The Secretary, Chrisenthya Sylve, was not able to attend the ceremony so in her place, Shondreka Coverson lit the blue candle. The black candle was lit by the Treasurer, Toshika Sylvester. To induct the members into the club, Sadiki Edwards lit the gold candle.

     The two sponsors of the Beta Club are Ms. Jacede Gordon for the Senior Beta Club and Ms. Hannah Trufant for the Junior Beta Club. They really went out of their way to make the Beta Club induction nice. Refreshments were served to the students and their parents after the ceremony was complete.
